It was a beautiful day in Minneapolis on Tuesday, July 12th, as TLFF hosted The Larry Fitzgerald Youth Football Camp at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park.
This FREE 1-day camp provided instruction by experienced football coaches as well as several former NFL players. They taught skills, safety and the fundamentals of football for 165 youth ages 7-14.
The camp provided lunch, T-shirts, certificates and all the necessities at no cost! The camp was followed by a Back-to-School backpack giveaway in partnership with Bell Bank to assist children in being fully equipped for the new school year ahead. We were excited to have such a great turnout and to witness so many youth join Larry Fitzgerald Jr. & team, for a fun and exciting day of lessons and non-contact football. The kids were able to take photos and listen to words of encouragement and inspiration from Larry which they truly enjoyed.
