The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation is a dedicated supporter of organizations and non-profits doing work in the areas of Youth Education and Breast Cancer Awareness. Each year we host a series of events that allow us to fundraise to support organizations that align with our mission. The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation is excited to invite youth to join former NFL player Larry Fitzgerald Jr. & team, for a fun and exciting day of lessons and non-contact football. This FREE 1-day camp will provide instruction, teach skills, STEM in sports, safety and the fundamentals of football for youth ages 7-14. We will also have a Back to School Backpack Giveaway provided by our community partner, Bell Bank and the Street Eats Hot Food Truck will be on-site to provide FREE lunch immediately following the camp. We are excited to announce The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation First Tee Minnesota Scholarship program at Hiawatha Golf Course, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This transformative initiative will be awarded to ten deserving youth for a full year of golf and life skill instructions. The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation is committed to creating opportunities for young individuals to develop essential life skills through sports, education, and mentorship. Through this scholarship, the foundation aims to introduce the game of golf to aspiring youngsters while instilling values that transcend the golf course.
The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation (TLFF) is excited continues to bridge the digital divide through our BEYOND THE FINISH LINE initiative in partnership with Nascar's Phoenix Raceway, Microsoft, and West Point High School. This initiative launched during the 2023 Super Bowl week in Arizona with Larry Fitzgerald, Jr. & Danielle Frost from TLFF, Latasha Causey, President of the Phoenix Raceway, Ian Brock of Dream Hustle Code, Nascar driver's Rajah Caruth and Lavar Scott along with the Microsoft team.
This initiative hosts daily STEM learning at West Point High School with the presentation of Xbox consoles, an Xbox motorsports curriculum and a physical motorsport race car simulator provided by Microsoft. The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation & The Phoenix Raceway drive STEM learning year-round with non-profit partner field trips to provide youth from the community the opportunity to experience STEM through motorsports & technology. The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation teamed up with the NFLPA Professional Athletes Foundation during Super Bowl LVII to participate in the 2023 Smocks & Jocks Brunch featuringThe Art Of Collaboration with The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation from 11am to 3pm.There will be art on display for auction and featured pieces by Larry that will be on display in person and virtually. All proceeds from Larry's artwork will be donated to TLFF. In Addition, TLFF will be presenting grant checks for $10k each to the following non-profit organizations: Homeward Bound, Kids In Focus, UMOM & Boys Hope Girls Hope.
We are honored to share the L.A.C.E.R. Afterschool Program at Fairfax High School will be presenting students with 40 digital devices The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation donated through Microsoft. This will be a short Program acknowledging the great work the L.A.C.E.R Afterschool program is doing in partnership with LAUSD to provide tutoring, STEM, music, art and physical fitness resources to students.
